Hello, new month☀️
Let's welcome March 2022 with some amazing good vibes!
Hey, you!
Welcome to a brand new edition of Be Your Best Friend with Anangsha - the weekly newsletter that believes in planning ahead, and then periodically reviewing progress.
As we roll into the third chapter of 2022, here's a glimpse of what February looked like for me:
Built #IWCON2022 with the amazing InfoSec WriteUps Publication team. This was my first experience with an event of this size. After a month of hard work, the event was a grand success with 16 awesome speakers and 700+ registrations. The 2-day event was legit the best 2 days of this year for me.❤️
I wrote some truly value-packed and honest stories, grew my follower count by 5k new people, and reached a new income goal on Medium.
Worked on 3 new content-repurposing side hustles I never thought I'd be doing, including paid guest posts and sponsorships. Didn't know once you have a huge library of content, making extra money by repurposing it can be so easy. 🤩
Helped 60+ writers with my 90 day freelancing guide to finding amazing high-paying clients. Haven't gotten your copy yet? Head over here.
On a personal note, February was a month of growth
I worked out for 22 days, built my strength, and stability, and finally managed to perfect a Yoga pose I've been trying for months (Veerabhadrasana 3)
Introduced my mother to my partner, dog, and the new world we've built together. Big step, I know, but it was so fulfilling. She stayed with us for 2 weeks and neither of us had a single breakdown. 💪
Practiced focussing on the positive instead of overthinking worst case scenarios in my head. Didn't succeed 100%, but I'm at a better place now than I was in January.

Some failures (and what I hope to improve in March):
Couldn't stick to my rule of "Only home-cooked food on weekdays." I actually ended up eating unhealthy on more days than I can count. 🙈
My sugar intake must have doubled because of all the ice creams I stress-ate. But March has a new rule: no eating anything with processed sugar. Hope I can stick to it🤞
Spent many days with 8+ hours of screen time. I hope to have more balance in March and go back to my routine of not working more than 5 hours a day.
Only read 1 and a half books (I read 10 books in January). Hope to read at least 4 books, including one non-fiction in March.
How was your February? Let me know the highs and lows by leaving a reply to this email or drop a comment below.👇
I’ll see you again soon. Until then, stay awesome and keep smiling.
Best,
Anangsha
