Dearest family!
Hope you are doing well in these tough times. I know, life is hard - it seldom is always all smiles. The most important thing is that we need to carve out our own happiness. “When life gives you leomons, make lemonade,” they say. Well, I would like to promose something else -
When life gives you lemons, plant the seeds, harvest the fruit, and start a lemonade business. Then, make money, invest in some cool stocks, and earn enough passive income to never work another day in your life!
In other words, hard times will never stop coming. We need to derive the best possible results from them - learn our lessons, apply them to our lives so such a misfortune never happens again, and use this self-awareness to propel ourselves forward.
Sure, it is hard to look for positivity at all times.
But do you know what else is hard?
Staying sad. Sulking. Crying over how bad your luck is.
None of those things are easy. It takes actual time, effort, and energy to STAY SAD. So, if we are investing energy anyway, why not invest it to move towards a positive outcome?
Of course, this is easier said than done. But, with time and mindful practice, this can definitely be possible. If you make ONE goal for the rest of 2020, I want you to make this:
No matter what misfortune befalls me, I will try to make something good out of it.
It can be a life lesson, a realisation, or one more step closer to self-awareness.
I know you can do it. Remember the hardest moment on your life, the lowest of your lows? Remember how hard you had to fight to overcome that? And look where you are today! If you can find your way out of so much darkness, you can do this too.
I am here, rooting for you, because I believe in you.

I recently uploaded two super amazing videos on my YouTube channel:
The first is a mind-blowing interaction session I had with one of India’s finest professional magicians. Aside from super valuable insights he gave me on productivity, building a personal brand, and establishing yourself as a freelancer, he also showed me some super cool magic tricks. Watch the view and see for yourself.
The second is a list of seven tips you can use to effectively listen to an audiobook. I have applied these strategies and have listened to over 50 audiobooks in the past year and a half.
In other news, here are some interesting pieces I wrote:
What if you could turn back time and give your 17-year-old self a few pieces of relationship advice? I did just that, and here are the results. Read all about what I would tell my 17-year-old self about life, love, and boyfriends.
I decided to spend this to experiment on my body. I started working out for 30 minutes each day, and guess what! In less than a month, I was able to lose 5 Kgs and feel amazing. Read all about my weight-loss journey here.
I read 80+ books every year in spite of having a full-time job and a part-time PhD. How do I manage that? Maybe it has got to do with how I perceived books and reading as a child. Here are a few anecdotes about how I became an avid reader.
That’s all from my end today. I hope you found something of value in this email. Reply to this to let me know anything that’s running through your head and how can I help you.
I will see you all again next week. Till then, stay awesome.
Much love,
Anangsha
