Life only makes sense when you look back
And the vision of the future is always a black box!
If I knew in 2015 the kind of life I have today, I’d have never doubted myself.
I wouldn’t have questioned my self-worth after that failed product launch.
I wouldn’t have cried late into the night, wondering if it will ever work out, if I’ll ever be able to escape the “trap” of an unforgiving 9-to-5.
I would have put in more hours, more effort, more heart into whatever I was building.
But that’s the whole point of life, isn’t it? It only makes sense in hindsight.
In the present, all we can see is the biggest problem (or joy) currently keeping us awake. Everything apart from that is a blur, a foggy area, a black box.
But I’m here to remind you this: If there’s one reason you shouldn’t give up on yourself, it’s because of your future self.
You need to show up for them.
To have faith that they’ll have a better life than yours.
To keep putting in the work because, trust me, one day, they’ll remember this phase of hustle and be SO PROUD that you didn’t give up.
If this email made you feel hope (or even made you smile), drop in a reply and let me know.
I’d love to hear your thoughts.
With tons of love and good wishes for the week,
Anangsha
