From the day I started taking Medium seriously, getting published with Mind Cafe was one of my goals. However, after 5 months and 20+ rejections, I was slowly giving up hope.

I stopped trying after a few days, but recently, I had this desire to publish with them burning bright in my chest. I knew I couldn’t let it go, and so, I decided to go all in. I worked hard for several weeks until I finally got my first piece accepted.

Getting published with Mind Cafe was probably one of the hardest Medium-related battles I conquered this year. It was also the most satisfying.

I want to share this journey with you and give you some tips if you’re looking to work with Mind Cafe or other major Medium publications.
