Hello dear friend,
I want to start this email with a question I get asked quite often.
"Anangsha, did you lose your writing income after AI became popular?"
Let's clear the doubts today, shall we?
AI has, and will continue to take up the jobs of thousands of writers worldwide.
Why?
Because AI is 1000x faster, has better ideas, and is quicker at execution.
Is writing a viable job option if the future is so bleak?
Yes, 100% yes!
If you write SEO articles that can be generated with the click of a button, then yes, AI will replace you. But if you focus on creating connection with your audience and providing them deep, vulnerable stories that educate, inspire, or provide them an escape, then no AI can replace you.
In the age of AI, efficiency doesn't matter anymore. Efficacy does.
Coming to the question we started with: Has AI eaten up my writing income?
No!
I make as much, if not more, each month as I used to before generative AI became a thing.
How do I do it?
By writing stories about my life, learnings, experiences, and reflections. I respect the reader's time and always give them something that forces them to think. I do research, conduct interviews, and create articles that don't exist anywhere else on the internet.
I've worked on refining my writing voice, and no AI can replace me. Not yet, at least.
A sizeable chunk of my writing income comes from this platform called Medium that rewards and celebrates human stories. If you're consistent there, you can make upwards of $1500 every month by writing about whatever you want.
Sounds exciting?
I'm hosting a FREE webinar to teach you how to leverage Medium publications for earning $$$$.
