Hello dear friend,
I’m not good at planning.
I suck at analyzing stats, focusing on what’s working, and being hyper-aware of all the ways my business can grow.
But if there’s one superpower I have, it’s the ability to stay consistent.
In May 2020, I decided to write one article every day and publish it on this website called Medium.
It wasn’t easy, and it definitely wasn’t intuitive.
Every day, I wanted to stop, to go back to my old ways, and live my life in peace.
But I also believed that putting your work out there can bring about miracles.
And so, I kept writing.
For 90 days straight, I wrote and published one article every day.
Today, all the wonderful things I have in my life can be traced back to those three months of massive effort.
I’m a full-time writer. I live with people I love in a lovely city. I have enough time and mental peace to focus on hobbies that will never give me money. I spend ~2 hours working out every day without missing out on work. I take my dog on morning and evening walks and read 90+ books each year.
All this magic, for three months of daily writing.
I think that’s how most things in life work.
If you want something, break it down to the bare minimum steps, and keep doing them every day for 60-90 days. Let the results change your life forever. :)
