I've only traveled once since the start of the pandemic, and it was to a place less than 500 km from my home, at a time when covid case counts in this region was low. Since it was a hiking/camping trip, I was outdoors most of the time, and when I was outdoors I was not concerned about catching or spreading covid-19. But I was shocked at how people behaved indoors, and how many people refused to wear masks on buses and trains even though that was required. At least I found train cars with very few passengers by boarding in the most inconvenient location on the platform and the trains are supposed to have HEPA filters.
Still, it was a good trip, it was good to go hiking, sleep outside, and see the beautiful lakes, mountains, and birds, and to remember that places outside my city exist. Oh, and I saw marmots too.
